With the production "#friedenohnegrenzen" about the GDR civil rights movement 'Women for Peace' and the life of the painter and political activist Bärbel Bohley, Kahmann & Scharpff succeed in opening up a multi-layered discursive space about East German feminism, war and peace, which also enriches contemporary debates through its historical lens.
