Giulia Paolucci is an interdisciplinary artist, scenographer and costume designer.

Born in Cesena/Italy. Lives and works in Berlin/Germany.

Since her studies of stage and costume design at the Art academy Berlin-Weißensee she has been working with different directors at City and State Theaters and in the independent scene.

In recent years, her work has focused on performance, dance and installation, as well as projects in public space, social art and ecology. She is particularly interested in interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches.

In her artistic work her interest tourns around social aspects of community, collaboration and the relationship between people and the environment, of course also into all different kind of materials.
Her work, starting from space, and contents is to give shape through different media and to a vision that becomes tangible.
Her main focus is currently on the playful discourse that reads art in a social context. Based on her conviction that life and art are one and the same, She also explore associative playgrounds and aesthetic spaces of possibility that reflect and question current living conditions. Humanism, community and above all ecology are among her main concerns.
